About Me

I was born and raised in Centerville, Ohio, graduating with honors from Centerville High School in May 2017. I will graduate from Purdue University with my B.S. in Mechanical Engineering in December 2021, after which I will begin work as an Aerospace Engineer for the U.S. Air Force, as a part of the AFLCMC Propulsion Directorate.

In addition to my engineering career and independent projects, I also enjoy playing music as a percussionist and a pianist. Currently, my musical studies are focused on classical piano solo repertoire, with my percussion career largely finished.

While attending Purdue, I served as the Principle Percussionist for the Purdue Wind Ensemble for four semesters, while also performing with the Commencement Band, the Philharmonic Orchestra, and other Purdue Ensembles at various times. In Fall 2020, I was named the Outstanding Member or the Wind Ensemble, and in Spring 2021, I was awarded the Lillian & R.B. Stewart Award for Musical Excellence. I have also previously served as the Principle Percussionist for the Centerville High School Wind Symphony, appearing in the 2017 MFA National Concert Band Festival, the 2017 MFA National Honor Band of America, and the 2017 OMEA All-State Band.

While my studies have focused on engineering, music has and continues to be a big part of my life, and I’m grateful for the myriad of opportunities I received at Centerville and Purdue.
